General Assembly’s Data Science Immersive (DSI) is a 12-week long training program dedicated to give students a deep dive into the world of Data Science, focusing on the ability to analyze, make sense of, convey data-driven facts from massive data sets, and predict what happens next through predictive modeling and pattern recognition.

• Designed, hand sketched, and painted chalkboards that highlighted and promoted interest in theproducts, leading to an increase in quarterly sales.• Responsible for the progress and completion of sign projects and overall sign maintenancethroughout the store to remain in compliance with Los Angeles County Weights and Measures.• Worked in a fast-paced environment and prioritized responsibilities based on ever-changing storeneeds.

- Designed and conducted experiments studying the effects of acetylcholine on fear learning in a rat model of PTSD using optogenetics, DREADDs, fear conditioning, and fluorescent microscopy

- Conducted preliminary experiments to determine differences in networkpathways between spaced and massed trial learning (ie. cramming for a test versus studying a little every day) using Object Location Memory (OLM) training, immunohistochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, DAB staining, brightfield microscopy and in house imaging software.- Identified and traced the boundaries of brain regions in pictures of sections of mouse brain tissue using ImageJ to aid in the development of a machine learning algorithm
