I designed an adjustable Langmuir probe mount, alongside its respective probes, in order to measure the plasma temperature and plasma density of an RF plasma. The probes on this mount would move horizontally within the plasma, all of which would be operated by an external crank. After constructing the mount I began taking measurements of the plasma. Ultimately the results found from these probes would be compared to those found from an LIF laser.

Komosoko, Kenya

Five students and one professional engineer formed a project team to implement a rainwater catchment system on a school roof in Komosoko, Kenya. I played a key role in designing the system throughout the previous school year, and I was assigned to be a technical lead for this trip. We interviewed the local citizens, conducted geological surveys of the area, built the rainwater catchment system, and decided upon the location of next year's project.
