I am honored to be working for the Aurora Police Department as a Police Area Representative Community Involvement and Outreach Officer. With upwards of 17 years total of dedicated experience and servitude in the field of Emergency Services, I have a background in Law Enforcement, Firefighting, Hazmat, Emergency Medical Services and Emergency Management. My assignment as an Area Representative for the Aurora Police Department encompasses a spectrum of community, management and emergency services. This includes problem solving, reassurance policing, crisis outreach/response, public services, decision making, collaboration with stakeholders, security, direct/in-direct enforcement, public meetings, instructing/training, administrative duties, fact finding, investigations, collaborations with intelligence and other assignments, research, county assessor usage, security surveys, and official directed support. I proudly serviced in the US Air Force in the field of Emergency Management (3E9X1) as an Airman at Buckley Air Force Base with honorable discharge as a Veteran. I have years of experience as a supervisor and manager in retail and customer services in past careers. Public service skills, decision making, a drive to do the best job and strong work ethic has been a value of mine since my work life started.
