As the Director of Security at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, I oversee the safety and protection of guests, staff, and property at a luxurious waterfront hotel. I manage a team of security officers, implement security policies and procedures, and coordinate with local law enforcement agencies. I also leverage my extensive law enforcement and investigation experience to handle any security incidents or emergencies that may arise at the resort. I am a member of the Association of Workplace Investigations and conduct internal investigation.I have over 37 years of law enforcement experience in San Diego, where I served as a Supervising District Attorney Investigator and a Homicide Detective. I have investigated hundreds of complex and high-profile cases, ranging from officer involved shootings and use of deadly force, to homicide, narcotics, gangs and vice. I have received multiple awards and recognition for my service and expertise, and I have presented my research and findings on law enforcement use of force trends and patterns at various forums and media outlets. My passion is to share my knowledge and skills with the law enforcement community and the public, and to promote justice, accountability, and safety for all.
