As a Student Ambassador to Governors State University, my role involves providing an overview of the campus to prospect students, primarily incoming freshman and/or transfer students. My duties include giving tours of the main campus and residential housing, providing general information about special admission requirements, and answering miscellaneous questions/concerns for both the students and parents. I also assist with special events sponsored through the admissions office such as Transfer Thursdays, Freshman Fridays, and providing group tours to local high school students.

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, assist with walk-in appointments- Provide customer service to incoming, current, and prospective students- Assist with campus-wide admissions events- Send out bulk mailings (i.e. admission letters, prospective packets, & requested information)
