After 20 years in the elementary classroom, I made a move to K-12 Outreach at Auburn University. In my last 5-7 years in the classroom, I taught after-school robotics and incorporated STEM into my classroom. Watching students excel encouraged me to want to share this with as many students as possible. Currently, I am the Assistant Director for our Robotics Outreach office (SCORE). My position gives me the opportunity to reach more students, tackle new challenges, and provide professional development to teachers.
