From mid-2014 through the end of my time with them I managed their mobile web platform ADLife.Customer projects:- Wrote the mobilization used for m.burtsbees.com.- Wrote a collection game for one of the top children's toy companies.Platform work:- Wrote middleware to handle data in a variety of formats from a variety of locations so that it could be used in pages in a format similar to handlebars.- Rewrote the rendering system to use PHP autoloading and a framework similar to Kohana.- Pushed fellow developers to use Composer and 3rd-party components rather than writing our own.- Pushed for using PHPUnit for testing.- Managed the backlog of tasks, led stand-ups and code reviews for developers.System Migration:- Planned and executed a migration of the entire system from a 3rd-party host to AWS.- Redesigned the platform to run within AWS's Opsworks using Chef for quick machine creation and managed deployment and RDS for a managed database.
