Started working in Flint, Michigan and was asked to transfer to Smyrna, Tennessee. --Training Supervisor-- (June 2017-Present) - Smyrna, TN-Train new employees on various operational machinery such as forklifts and tuggers to ensure that they can safely operate the machinery to which they are assigned-Facilitating Safety Committee Meetings-Clearly communicate adherence to safety procedures and processes with all new employees as well as follow up with existing employees -Management of quality and safety compliance as well as company policies and procedures-Coaching potential new employees on items on which to focus before being tested on machines-Touring the various temp agencies through the training area, training processes, and all the details to which their personnel will be measured against-Direct supervision of warehouse staff including clerical and labor staff-Production of various reports related to staffing-At the end of February 2018, I was part of the first Kaizen event for the Smyrna, TN facility. The Kaizen team was tasked with improving the training area and reducing spills of material and lowering cost associated with said spills-- Operations Supervisor-- (August 2015-June 2017) - Flint, MI-Management of quality and safety compliance as well as company policies and procedures-Direct supervision of warehouse staff including clerical and labor staff-Executed the planning of high volume traffic logistics to insure customer requirements are efficiently supported while keeping overtime low and production high-Production of various reports related to quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies analysis as well as recommendations for streamlining/improving processes

Hired in as a machine operator, promoted four times.--Maintenance Planner-- (Nov 14-July 15)-Analyzing required jobs and determining most efficient way to accomplish work-Receiving, reviewing, and evaluating the scope, priority, feasibility, and clarity of each work order while ensuring the availability of parts, materials, and tools required to complete each work order-Prioritizing workload based on urgency and constraints--Operations Administrator-- (July 13-Oct 14)-First Aid, CPR, and AED certified-Led the entire hourly workforce through White Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification-Managed rail car inventory orders coordinating with the rail car company to ensure attainment of required materials -Coached reading impaired individuals to ensure understanding of materials-Had frequent face-to-face time with hourly employees, team leaders, and managers to improve efficiency of processes-Coordinated and led the company's plant-wide holiday parties and picnics -Assisted in the creation and implementation of the New Hire Orientation Training for our facility--Continuous Improvement Change Agent-- (Oct 11-July 13)-Facilitated and led Continuous Improvement initiatives through total of 7 Kaizens.-Trained all hourly employees on Continuous Improvement processes such as 5-S, PDCA, and Eight (8) Wastes -Controlled the inventory of the high consumption crib supplies and improved tracking through implementation of PPE vending -Managed the Standardized Work Instructions (SWI's), auditing the accuracy of SWI's and adjusting as needed --Quality Assurance Inspector-- (Dec 08-Oct 11)-Led problem solving efforts with other Inspectors, Operators, Production Members, Team Leaders, and Managers-Examined products from machines in various stages of production--Machine Operator-- (Feb 07-Dec 08)-Managed up to five people in a work cell to ensure continuous, efficient work flow while reducing waste-Improved employee morale / defused employee issues
