• As head director, I administrate the operations of the entire band and color guard program and the booster organization at La Cueva High School. • Team-teach the marching band and basketball bands while directing the Wind Symphony and the Jazz program.• The Jazz bands have received composite superior ratings every year at the Albuquerque Jazz Festival. • La Cueva High School Jazz Band 1 has been selected to perform at the 2020 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic.• In 2014, 2016 and 2020, our Jazz Band 1 was named the New Mexico Jazz Educators State Honor Jazz Band and performed at the NMMEA State Conference in Popejoy Hall in January of each of those two years. • In 2018, because of high enrollment numbers in the Jazz program, the school administration granted the addition of a third Jazz Band into the school day.• The Wind Symphony has earned straight superior ratings at the District Music Performance Assessment and NMAA State Band Contest each year of my tenure as head director. • In 2017, the Wind Symphony was selected as the New Mexico Music Educators Association State Honor Concert Band and performed at the NMMEA State Conference in Popejoy Hall at UNM in January of 2017. • In 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Wind Symphony was awarded the 5A State Championship at the NMAA State Band Contest.• The marching band has been selected for finals at the Bands of America - St. George, UT Regional in 2017 and 2018. • The marching band have made finals at the Zia Marching Band Fiesta every year since taking over the operations of the marching program, including eight top 5 finishes. • The marching band was a finalist at the 2015 New Mexico Tournament of Bands in Las Cruces, NM, a finalist at the 2016 Pomona Invitational in Colorado and have been named a class champion four times at the New Mexico Pageant of Bands.• La Cueva High School hosted District Music Performance Assessment in 2018 and District Honor Band in 2013 and 2014.

• Directed Symphonic Band, Intermediate Band, Cadet Band, and Beginning Band. • Taught Guitar and Exploratory Music• Started Jazz Band program first year; Second Jazz Band started in my fourth year• The Symphonic Band has received first division ratings from all of our judges at the District VII Large Group Festival for all six years of my tenure. • Three-time runner-up and the 2010 State Champion at the NMAA State Concert Band Festival. • In 2010, the Symphonic Band was selected as the New Mexico Music Educators Association State Honor Concert Band and performed at the NMMEA State Conference • The Intermediate and Cadet Concert Bands and Jazz Bands earned consistent superior and excellent ratings at each festival attended in my six-year tenure at the school.• Eisenhower Middle School hosted the 2007 and 2010 District VII Middle School Solo & Ensemble Festivals and rehearsals for the 2008 District VII Middle School Honor Band.
