Stormwater Utility Engineer
*Provides leadership in the continued development of the SW Division's GIS program.*Produces engineering studies, maps, reports, displays, and exhibits needed for City's SWU program and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit activities.*Provides regular audits of the SW utility fee program and prepares periodic financial analysis and reports on the SW enterprise fund revenue and expenditures.*Conducts ongoing maintenance and QA/QC of the SWU property and impervious area GIS dataset. Coordinates with HRWTF and/or contracted billing entity to ensure monthly and annual SWU billing system data is accurate.*Performs reviews and provides recommendations for acceptance of applications to the City's industrial, non-residential, and multi-family SWU fee credit applications.*Provides leadership in the ongoing mapping of City SW infrastructure.*Performs GIS/Asset Management analysis, queries, searches, data manipulation, problem identification and resolution to support SW Division maintenance program decisions on the use of in-house versus contracted labor for select operations.*Partners with the SW Program Manager to perform contract and construction management functions for select annual services contracts, engineering and environmental consultant services contracts, and capital improvement projects.*Assists the SW Program Manager with various CIP design and construction oversight tasks.*Assists the SW Program Manager in developing grant applications, preparing MS4 annual reports, and other reports as may be needed.*Assists the SW Program Manager in preparing Request for Proposals, proposal review, and contract award processes for SW Division functions.*Represents department within and outside organization.
