I'm a creative research scientist who likes to take advantage of the latest knowledge and advanced experimental techniques to explore new directions in energy technologies. My background is in physical chemistry, electrochemistry and surface science. Currently, my main research topic is the use of synchrotron x-ray methods to look at the catalysts in fuel cells and batteries during operation (in-operando). However, my science interest is much broader and spans from the development and use of synchrotron x-ray analytical techniques to the development of graphene based heterostructures for spintronics.
