As Head of Product at JUXT my primary focus is on developing and commercialising XTDB, which is an open source database system we've created to simplify how developers manage bitemporal and dynamic data (see https://xtdb.com).My ambition is to help the industry embrace next-generation data technology that reflects the continual innovations across the hardware stack and cloud economy, in service of cost-efficiency, performance and simplicity. I am especially passionate about dynamic and 'malleable' software, because as Alan Kay says "The Computer Revolution Hasn't Happened Yet". XTDB reflects all of these themes.In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano, studying history, and spending time in the great outdoors (where there's a good chance I'll still be thinking about software...).
