Lead the Backstage team in performing daily tasks such as, shipping and receiving, maintaining organization of stockroom, answering telephones, and completing logistical tasks. Strategize and plan for new product launches, visual changes, and merchandising updates. Plan and execute physical inventory of the store twice yearly. Encourage strong peer relationships among Backstage team by motivating and supporting each individual’s style of learning/performing tasks. Partner with leadership and other store teams to implement new processes and initiatives such as, service part drop off, pickup for business labeling, Today at Apple session call-outs, etc. Collaborate with Schedule Planner to ensure effective scheduling to meet the needs of the business. Review inventory and operations trends with leadership and promote awareness and ownership of inventory performance amongst each store team. Train and mentor Operations Specialists to ensure inventory accuracy and operational excellence. Communicate with RFO to resolve inventory variances and systematic issues as needed.

Assist two Inventory Control Specialists in maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing detailed shipping and receiving of freight, maintaining organization of stock and stockroom, ordering of supplies, answering telephones, and performing logistical duties as needed. Helped the Back-of-House team achieve a 99.81% accuracy during physical inventory, the highest accuracy in the store’s ten-year history.

Implement and maintain visual standards as determined by corporate guidelines to enhance the customer experience and follow company-wide marketing and merchandising. Lead a team of up to 20 individuals in completing merchandising changes and maintaining over 100 devices for both demonstration purposes and/or in-store-use. Work closely with managers to coordinate scheduling for overnight visuals changes and visuals related tasks. Communicate with corporate level and regional level employees to execute visuals tasks. Provide guidance and assistance to stores in the surrounding area to achieve consistency among stores so that the customer experience effectively represents Apple, regardless of location.

Provided exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment in order to benefit the customer. Responsibilities included not only selling products and services, but educating the customer about anything and everything Apple, and occasionally providing basic troubleshooting and technical support.
