After working as Accounts Payable in various companies most of my life, I wanted to pursue my love of gardening and nature, I became a Master Gardener & Natural Beekeeper in 1998, attended Coop Camp in 2013 to learn how to care for chickens & ducks, in 2013 we began building our Farm....we got our Solar Power system, I went to school for 4 years and became an Herbalist, we opened the farm in 2017. I never dreamed we would be doing what we are.....below is our Farm Bio as of Oct. 2020, in spite of the Pandemic, our farm is doing well! *CA & J Farm - Life Close to Nature – Sharing Our Earth*A Place of Wellness, Music and Learning!Jean is a trained Community Herbalist & Drum Circle Facilitator, sharing Natural Wellness Education through Music and Programs on, off farm and Virtual. We are an Off-grid capable Solar, Educational, Medicinal Herb and Organic Egg Farm, with a Yellow Barn Healthy Life Store. With our Farm Community we offer frequent Drum Circles led by our Inspired Drum Team, Group Programs on / off farm & virtual, an annual Herbalist Course, Herb & Plant sales, Cut Flowers, the Dragonfly Labyrinth, the Woodland Peace Path, the Peppermint Outdoor Performance Stage, Bee Hives, Events, Music Festivals & more! A joyful, grounded place, we are a destination, open to the public most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10:30-6, year-round. Not currently selling on-line, but coming soon…along with Online Courses, to include business tips on how we do this! So much knowledge for our Farm to Share!
