Director
CurrentLead scientists in Molecular Pathology and Bioimaging. Investigations include biobanking, target and biomarker validation, mechanism of action, qualification of biomarkers and assays, cell identification, proof of concept, animal model characterization, efficacy measures and biologics specific assays such as tissue cross reactivity and translational science studies prior to clinical studies. Core technologies include histology, immunohistochemistry, multiplex IHC, RNA in situ hybridization, and quantitative bioimaging analyses. Contribute major impacts to research efforts that cover from early discovery, to translational medicine, to development and even to marketing. Contributed to setting global bioethics policy for use of human biospecimens, to establishing contracts for access to human biospecimens, and to setting up global biorepository database and management system. Major partner for collaborative projects in US and EU, including for immuno-oncology, immunology including mulitple sclerosis, cardiovascular, and rare diseases.
