Foundations and Grants Management Researched and wrote funding requests to foundations, corporations, government entities for program and capital organization needs raising more than $830,000 a year.Identified potential funding sources matching needs and programs of the organization.Developed direct marketing pieces for mailing and presentations to funders. Designed, implemented and managed a multi-year funding grant review process. The process involved review of 460 non-profit programs in 211 agencies in four review cycles. Recruited and managed 800 volunteers and 10 staff, resulting in an annual allocation investment of over $56 million in community programs.Led seven-county initiative to resettle more than 500 families displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Managed all aspects of school interaction with its 24,000 alumni including 30 - 40 annual social, educational and fundraising events; coordinated annual fund solicitation. Developed, guided and supported activities of the school's volunteer alumni organization and seven working committees. Recruited, trained, organized and coordinated over 200 volunteers annually.
