I am a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in "Physical Activity and Fitness management" (BSEd) with a focus in Adventure Education, Coaching and Aquatics. Although my focus had always been fitness and education, my path has lead me into construction. I have spent a few years in administration and as an assistant project manager, but now I have taken a new direction into Safety Management.Following my education gained at Slippery Rock University, I moved onto working in the construction industry. Through my field management role, I have gained experience in Leadership, Hazard Control, Internal Auditing, and further expanded my communication and teaching skills through Training.My goal as a Safety Professional is to educate and to instill a true culture of caring. I aim to help people understand how safety and health matters. How it is pertinent, not only in our occupations, but in our everyday lives.
