Mahindra & Mahindra Pvt LtdPay Role: Tech Mahindra limited Mechanical Design Engineer.Mahindra world city, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.Roles and Responsibilities:• Working for M-star (NOVO 755DI) wet main clutch from Concept release to Build & Validation.• Working with cross functional COE teams to clear the ORCs raised by Build, Testing & Validation.• Supporting cross functional COE teams by making casting component and gear/shaft/sheet metal component 3D modelling and manufacturing drawing.• Managing entire assembly of tractor by understanding functional requirements• Design release activities by checking BOM, Interface in Aggregate and Phantom level.• Calculating stack of assembly by RSS & Worst-case methods.• Working on DFA feedbacks from Assembly Plant Engineers.• Making Installation Drawings for Assembly Purpose.• Assisting to Transmission & Tractor level testing and get data approval from COE Team.• Assisting components durability, endurance testing to SEL and Fatigue Laboratory and providing test data to COE Team.• Preparing speed chart by calculating it virtually for CMVR (Central Motor Vehicle Rules) documentation.• Creating Transmission Line Diagram of power flow for CMVR documentation.

Designing new concepts, Assembly modelling, detailed drafting using SOLID WORKS & AUTOCAD.Roles and responsibilities:initiate ideas given to our team members & coordinating.reverse engineering, 2D to 3D modelling and assembly.Design & development of Access platforms (AS1576 standard), work stands, special purpose machines (SPM), weldment structure, conveyor products, work stands and Trestles, pipelines sheet metal design.Check the stability of the platform with longitudinal, lateral load and wind load check, step tripping check, overturning when pushing check (using calculations). Calculate the work load limit (using static load simulation & find the FOS in solid works)involving in design and modification of complex parts using 3D scan data (STL files) & CMM Data.STL file preparation form point cloud data.Preparing GA Drawing, installation layouts, exploded views of assembly drawings, detailed drawing for individual components and complete bill of materials (BOM) & detailed drawing For Pressing (Flat pattern drawing, Laser cut drawing), Fabrication, Section rolling and pipe bending (XYZ coordinates).detail drawing has been done with proper welding symbols based on AS 1554.1 & ASME (Y14.5) standards.
