• Design JEE’s contemporary line with domestic and overseas factories from concept to the final product.• Involving all steps of design development including fabric & artwork development, fitting, pattern making.• Handle production with overseas factory. • Communicate with buyers and take actions on issues and requirements

• Reported directly to design director of product development with accountability for all product development from initial sketch, print development, and color stories to fabric selection & trim sourcing.• Attended fitting and worked closely with production and technical team to ensure timely delivery.• Design responsibilities have included women’s woven and knit top, bottom, dress and jacket as well as women’s special sizes in plus and petite • Managed in-house pattern makers, cutters, and sewers on a daily basis.• Supervised assistants and interns.

• Managed two lines and design assistants conducted extensive international trend research, theme inspiration, and color direction to produce fresh new collections.• Worked directly with overseas factories in China, India and Indonesia,• Oversaw line production, attended product development meeting and prepared showroom set-ups.• Worked closely with merchandising & sales team to ensure creative idea and our business goals.

• Created flat sketches by hand & computer, and made tech packs for overseas sample making.• Develop separate lines for private label customer including CAD, presentation board and email follow-up.• Showed the collections and worked closely with sales & merchandising directors on line presentations.
