• Within the Materials, Planning and Logistics (MP&L) Function of the Business, I am an integral part of the International Programme Management team on multiple Vehicle and Model Year programmes.
• My key deliverables have been to source, plan and initiate the use of Production/Non-Production materials for our new site in Slovakia. This project has been managed by myself from the start up through to handover to.
• Other notable projects included Advanced Shipping Notification Conformance and on boarding – which involved learning SAP, supporting suppliers during the on-boarding process onto our new system, through to shipping.
• Value Steam Mapping has been another key remit, to ensure that we are achieving the most efficient and cost effective method of shipping and receiving packaging between the UK and Slovakia.
• Responsible for budgeting and owning the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) for the project.
• In order to prevent extreme cost implications on the business through line stoppages and other delays, I have helped organise emergency part deliveries to Slovakia on a 24-hour turnaround.
