I always felt that he activily listened and cared about the VFX team's well being and concerns. Whilst providing a solid safetynet and feedback, he allowed the team a good degree of autonomy over their work, stepping in where necessary. I felt like I could relax knowing that he was having the important conversations behind the scenes and I also felt like I could focus on my work and tasks without having to worry about the project or larger picture. He also showed a great deal of wisdom and experience with VFX in general, having worked on numerous and varied projects prior to coming to splashdamage.
