• Led teams (150 people) across five sites responsible for technology development, front end innovation, product realization, design verification testing, program management, and new product introduction for widespread Fluke Industrial product portfolio. • Widely deployed Lean Product Development, resulting in an overall 30% reduction in time across New Product Development programs. • Led team responsible for company wide safety and product compliance, including customer responses up to and including safety recalls. • Transformed operating process from a culture of engineering project management to an integrated Program Management Office, including all aspects of new product development from innovation to commercial readiness.• Led technology development team responsible for identifying, incubating and prototyping new technologies, resulting in key technologies delivered as part of new product introduction.

• Site manager for Plymouth Minnesota facility (50 people, 21K square feet) • Deployed Fluke’s first instance of Lean Product Development, resulting in product delivery (TIx520/560 Thermal Imager) in 11 months versus 18 month plan. • Created a culture of Design rigor, implementing design reviews, Agile Software Development, and design verification processes starting with 2012 decision cycle.• Implemented Quality improvements across the product line resulting in DPPM reductions by a factor of 2x and DOA reductions by a factor of 10x.• Created a platform based design approach that moved away from custom FPGA developments to off the shelf SoC modules, and Linux reuse across all products.

• Built up from scratch local Signal Source team after closure of Japan Design Center. • Created a culture of hiring and mentoring new college graduates (2-4 graduates per year).• Deployed design methodology including FPGA Design Rules and Design for Manufacturing/Test.• Team delivered hardware and calibration for next generation DPO 7000/70000 Oscilloscopes.

I teach 1-2 Computer Science Courses on a part time basis, distance leaning. Includes Python, c++, and a variety of Computer Science topics. As of 2020 still actively teaching 4-6 classes a year.

• Joined the company as a Design Engineer with key contributions to the delivery of the first generation Pentium™ Pro microprocessor (1995). Individual contributor across Computer Architecture, RTL and Logic Design, Digital Circuit Design, Synthesis and Timing Conversion, and Physical Design.• Held several management and leadership positions in Microprocessor Design, Design Automation, and System Validation. Last position at Intel was responsible for System Validation for all Microprocessor families in Intel’s Desktop and Server families (Pentium™, Xeon™, Core™)
