The Forum on the Arms Trade is an information clearinghouse, forum, and point of contact for strengthening efforts to address the economic, humanitarian and security implications of legal, illicit, and illegal arms transfers. Focused primarily on U.S. arms transfers and security assistance, the Forum is a professional network of civil society experts working on arms control, development, human rights and related topics. Based in Washington DC, the Forum provides a venue for bringing its community's wide-ranging expertise together to amplify and strengthen its work, while also offering government and media members a one-stop resource for the latest information and best contacts.

Senior Fellow on Conventional Arms Control and Transfers. Working with ACA providing expertise on an array of conventional issues, including major developments related to the implementation of multilateral conventional arms control agreements, namely the Arms Trade Treaty, Mine Ban Treaty and Convention on Cluster Munitions; major trends in the trade of conventional weapons; major arms transfers that may make negatively affect regional stability, peace and security.

Serve as editor of Arms Control Today (ACT) for the June and the July/August 2016 editions (while still wearing my hats with Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor, and the Forum on the Arms Trade). ACT is "the monthly journal on nonproliferation and global security," and produced by the Arms Control Association.

Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor is the knowledge leader on the landmines, cluster munitions, and explosive remnants issues in large part due to the strength of its global research network. The research network includes in-country researchers located in every region of the world, a diverse Editorial Team, and a Monitoring and Research Committee composed of leading human rights, advocacy and humanitarian organizations. Together, these experts contribute their knowledge of ban policy, mine action, and victim assistance to Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor’s vigorous research, editing and publication process.• Final edit Cluster Munition Monitor 2013 & 2014 and Landmine Monitor 2013 & 2014, the de facto civil society-led monitoring regime for the Convention on Cluster Munitions and the Mine Ban Treaty, led by the Nobel prize-winning International Campaign to Ban Landmines and the Cluster Munition Coalition.• Manage a team of 12 editors and dozens of researchers located around the globe.• Develop press releases and serve as a media contact for the Monitor.

The Control Arms campaign is a global civil society alliance that has advocated for a bulletproof Arms Trade Treaty for over a decade. Made up of over 100 charity, nonprofit, and nongovernmental groups throughout the world, Control Arms continues to strive for a world where deadly weapons are kept out of the wrong hands through a regulated arms trade.• Establish new Secretariat to support civil society alliance active in all regions of the world, leading to the successful international negotiation and adoption of the Arms Trade Treaty, the first global treaty on the trade in all conventional weapons.• Liaise with diplomats and government officials in the United Nations and other fora. Present to government, public and expert audiences globally.• Draft policy papers for Control Arms, manage production of select reports.• Develop and implement global media and coalition strategy, and act as media contact. • Oversee fundraising and donor relations for the Secretariat.

The Arms Control Association (ACA), founded in 1971, is a national nonpartisan membership organization dedicated to promoting public understanding of and support for effective arms control policies. • Provide senior leadership in strategic planning, policy development, grant writing and reporting, communications, new media development, personnel hiring and supervision.• Serve as staff expert on conventional weapons issues.• Track Congressional and administration efforts, meet with staff, draft and circulate community sign-on letters, serve as media resource.

Alliance of after school providers in Oakland, California.• Work directly with government representatives from multiple agencies, funders and community based organizations to advance policy development and implementation.• Set agendas, lead outreach and facilitate meetings and events for as many as 200 people.

The Urban Strategies Council is a community building support and advocacy organization located in Oakland, California. Founded as a non-profit in 1987, the Council works with stakeholders in low-income communities, community-based organizations, and public systems to expand services for children and families, improve health, educational, and other outcomes, and increase employment and economic opportunities• Work with multiple groups and community stakeholders to promote community capacity building in one of Oakland’s most economically challenged neighborhoods.
