Triangle Clean Cities Coalition is comprised of local & state government agencies, private companies, non-profit organizations, and interested individuals who are dedicated to accelerating the use of alternative fuels and advanced transportation technologies to improve air quality and energy security in the greater Triangle Region of North Carolina.

Served as a partner with leadership responsibilities in general business operations, IT infrastructure, and facilities management for a 3-4 million dollar per year residential and light commercial design build architecture firm. Projects focused on High Performance Building systems, including USGBC and LEED Platinum certified projects. Lead for grant related activities, Alternative Fuels, and other special project areas, receiving grant awards for 4 out of 5 proposals.

Served as a Director on the Board for Clean Energy Durham, a Durham based non-profit focused on grass roots energy conservation advocacy and training. Also provided guidance on development of new cloud based software platform (Pete Street) for community organizing efforts around energy conservation.

IronRim provided web based software development and consulting services in the GIS technology and construction space, including work requiring security clearances for the US Government. It also provided direct project management, business start-up, information systems and operations consulting and services to companies in these sectors. Served as general business manager, sales and marketing lead, and consulting partner for direct construction services.

Residential design and construction firm, working to utilize hybrid modular/on-site construction methods to develop a line of semi-custom homes designed to be ENERGY STAR rated.

Served in many different roles in the development and growth of that company. BuildNet was a developer of software systems for homebuilders, designed to support accounting, project management, change orders, and scheduling as an integrated business process. This company grew in the late 1990’s into the largest company of its kind in the country, with BuildNet customers responsible for nearly 30% of the housing starts in the country. BuildNet grew from ten employees to over 350 in the Research Triangle Park of Durham, NC, expanding later through acquisitions of complimentary software companies to total nearly 1000 employees in locations across the country. Served in roles from Product Design to Chief Technical Officer, and was instrumental to the design and implementation of BuildNet’s ecommerce strategy. During the expansion, worked across “company” lines, integrating technology, staff, and cultures of the acquired companies to converge on a common vision and mission.
