I am an experienced and dedicated leader with an extensive background in business, insurance rating and commercial lines underwriting. I have been with Nationwide Insurance, formerly Harleysville Insurance prior to the merger of the companies in 2012, for almost 16 years. In that time, I have progressed from the rating department through increasing roles of responsibility in small and middle market underwriting. I have been in my current role as a middle market commercial director for about 6 months. I have the pleasure of being part of a team of directors responsible for building a changing culture in our insurance operations. Our end goal is to become a viable commercial lines national carrier. My excitement, passion, dedication and vision coupled with values like honesty, ethics and integrity are the attributes that I have built my career on. Prior to Nationwide Insurance, I was an office manager for a manufacturing operation in Doylestown, PA. I had the responsibility to manage and direct a team who built circuit boards, manufactured components and assembled cable harnesses. Much of this work was technical in nature with high quality needed for our customers. I balanced the floor with office responsibilities which included payroll, ordering, accounts receivables/payables and client relationship. I feel the aforementioned experience in combination with my insurance industry track record make me a valued professional.
