For the past 15+ years I have consistently built & been a part of great teams, developed culture, and pursued operational excellence. My warm, direct and collaborative leadership skills have allowed me to excel at getting the most out of my colleagues and employees, while creating relationships that are life-giving and enjoyable. Working hard should be fun, and I love being a part of making it that way. Here are some things I'm proud of:1. Bringing the historic Magnolia Hotel (in Jacksonville, OR) a new lease on life, with my wife @nikkibale, in 4 short months, without killing each other. 2. Consistently creating positive relationships with the people that work with and for me. Highlighting their value and contribution to creating a great working atmosphere, based on trust and hard work.3. Managing large & complex real estate projects with skill, attention to detail, and time & budget sensitivity - while still maintaining positive relationships with all the contractors (IYKYK).4. Finding the very fine line between hitting large organizational goals and mandates, managing complex projects, and empowering and encouraging my direct reports to do their best work, and live their best lives.
