My passion is in improving the health of populations and driving value. For the past four years, I have been working as a health economist at the CDC in the Division of Global HIV/AIDS and TB coordinating the Expenditure Analysis for the PEPFAR program. The Expenditure Analysis collects over $3 billion across 57 countries from more than 1,000 mechanisms. I routinely combine financial, clinical and program data to identify inefficiencies by analyzing outliers, gaps in clinical cascades, and cost drivers. I am deeply interested in becoming a leader in using value based care and population health management to improve patient outcomes and reduce the cost of care.
