Overseeing the IT systems and assets of Express Lab and our sister clinic, Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center to ensure they are able to support the growth of business, make our people more productive in the time they spend working and integrate with our many partners. This involves analyzing requirements and existing process to understand needs and possibilities for automation or integration, evaluating and implementing COTS products where reasonable and designing and developing custom software solutions to fill gaps and make our unique processes more efficient. Integration with customers, internal systems, medical equipment and other stakeholders is accomplished using a variety of methods and technologies, including legacy solutions (fax, serial communication, automated print), current health information technology (HIT) standards (HL7, XML) and more modern techniques, familiar in today's web standards and now finding their way into HIT (JSON, SOAP, REST API).

More than fifteen years experience conceptualizing, designing and building performance support tools, resulting in a firm understanding of process improvement, effective collection and management of data for decision making and system usability and security best-practices. Covering a broad range of customers and subject matter areas, this experience has been developed into a framework for solving organizational information problems with proven, repeatable results.
