Assists federal government accounting departments with financial analyses and reviews, process improvements, internal controls, and monthly and quarterly closing processes and financial reporting. Oversees the development and update of easy-to-use automated tools to streamline processes and perform financial analysis.Worked as the Project Manager for the Financial Statement audit of the National Science Foundation for Fiscal year 2021. Served as the cycle lead and was responsible for executing the audit plan for Fund Balance with Treasury [FBWT], Property, and Budgetary Resources. He served as the co-lead over Grants and Cooperative Agreements and was also involved with testing over the Financial Reporting cycle.Provided Federal procurement, auditing, and financial management subject matter expertise in enhancing the Department of Treasury's the DATA Act Information Model Schema (DAIMS) standardization, submission and validation frameworks, and data structures used by all Federal agencies, and supported the DATA Act Service Desk as a Domain Expert. Worked with Treasury staff to update and release Version 2.1 of the DAIMS on the June 2021 to ensure the schema was updated to address identified issues and objectives for data comparability, validation and quality, structure, and design.

Assisted clients who contract with the Federal government in complying with applicable Federal regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DOD Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other regulations specific to the nature of the clients’ contracts. Specific experience includes Final Indirect Rate Cost Proposal preparation, review and audit support; the development, build, and implementation of CAS compliant cost accounting structures; Disclosure Statement creation, review, and update including cost impact calculations; business system process reviews and documentation of internal controls; and proposal preparation.Experience across a variety of industries including, Pharmaceutical, Engineering & Construction, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and Healthcare.
