Perform normal maintenance functions at the AAC facility; support visiting aircraft at AAC in terms of towing, refueling, loading, unloading, and routine maintenance. Perform the following prior to take-off: Make a Daily, Transit or Pre-Departure Service Check of the aircraft to ensure that the aircraft is properly fueled, all maintenance access panels and doors are secured, all necessary equipment is aboard and properly secured, and the aircraft is airworthy in accordance with established procedure; this includes inspection of the aircraft log for previous flight remarks, time on engines, time on airframe, maintenance work performed, and signs the aircraft log attesting to completeness of the appropriate check. Supervise all ground handling procedures for compliance with established safety precautions and proper servicing; sign fuel receipt and ensure security of all doors and access panels. Perform the following while in flight: Occupy the Maintenance Coordinator’s seat in the crew rest area to be available for any maintenance or operational issues that may arise from the flight deck or cabin. Perform the following duties after the aircraft has landed: Complete aircraft log and maintenance reports; note aircraft discrepancies in log and reviews required corrective actions with pilot. Supervise maintenance activities of outside contractors at locations away from home base. Perform inspections and corrective maintenance necessary to assure continued airworthiness and readiness for flight

Coordinate the repair, modification and preventative maintenance of ABX aircraft at a contract repair agency; perform project management functions to ensure the aircraft is maintained to ABX standards; perform vendor oversight as well as hands-on maintenance actions on ABX aircraft at both domestic and international locations as required.
