About Jeff Crowder

I have 10 years of experience in the web development industry on a wide range of projects and clients.I graduated from Purdue University in 2012 and during my last semester I had an intership at a local marketing firm (Indiana Design Consortium) that also provided web development services. After I graduated, they offered me a position as a developer. This position gave me my first look at what it was like to get requirements for a project and build it from the ground up. I also built my first CMS here and it was used for a project with a client.Later, I moved on to another local agency that specialized in web development - SFP. SFP provided web development and consulting services. While there, I built customized websites both static and dynamic as well as a few e-commerce sites. I used a variety of different CMS frameworks and even worked with a custom in-house built framework. This time in my career really helped me to grow and build my skillset. I built my second CMS that was used to help inventory a clients products as well as work with various APIs to create content postings on sites like Walmart.com to sell products. After SFP I moved to Columbus Ohio for a job opportunity with a company called Dynamit. At Dynamit, I continued building and maintaining custom web solutions, but for larger sized clients than before. I worked with multiple other teams internally as well as externally. I worked on mutliple projects that were in the restaurant space that had online ordering capabilities. I worked closely with 3rd party teams that controlled APIs for things like menu details and ordering. While working on one project, I was able to coordinate with other teams to help pinpoint a bottleneck in the overall application and improve the quality of the application.A couple of years into Dynamit it was announced that another company was going to be aquiring and merging with Dynamit. At the end of 2019 Dynamit merged with WillowTree. At WillowTree, I continued doing designing and maintaining web applications. I had opportunities to work on several different clients including a large client in the sports arena. It was the largest client I have worked for and it was a lot of fun. I also learned a lot about working with larger teams and was able to see how those teams coordinate their development efforts.
