With over 30 years of technical training by Batesville in the “science” of merchandising plus learning experiences from partnering with my customers, I feel confident that I provide benefits my customers need and want. The benefits of profitability and quality Merchandise Value Received (MVR) are married in any recommendation I make.I also make a point to stay abreast of the “art” of merchandising by reading continuously. I try to be practical in my sensitive application in funeral service. Funeral Directors whom I partner with can physically show product value tastefully in their efforts to communicate and fill the real need for personalized tributes. I like dealing in a profession where trust and competency are way up there in importance for my customer’s client families. I believe I best support this need in our profession by offering training opportunities to directors and arrangers. I have multiple product knowledge sessions plus the latest consumer segment studies to help funeral directors and their staff be the best professional in conveying value.
