Hi, I’m Jeff DeVito, founder of DeVito’s Lawncare. I started this company when I was 16 years old with the free time I gained after getting cut from the baseball team. My first customer was my neighbor who went on vacation and needed their lawn cut while they were gone. I charged $25 and used my dad’s equipment from our shed. When our neighbor came back they asked if I could cut their lawn for the duration of the season. Knowing my professional baseball career aspirations were over I printed up some flyers and shared them around my neighborhood. At the end of the first season I had three customers. Fast forward six years and DeVito’s lawn care now has two employees and over 100 properties we maintain.
