In that role, he oversees legislative and regional affairs, communications, community partnerships and special events staff for the Mayor’s office, helps set the strategic direction for the mayor’s policy agenda, and manages related priority initiatives and projects. Previously, Jeff served as Vice President of External Affairs for Comcast in the company’s Mountain West Region (Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho). In that position, Jeff was responsible for regulatory matters and government relations with state and local governments, external media and communications, and community investment. Prior to Jeff’s role at Comcast, Jeff was an attorney at Hogan Lovells US LLP in the firm’s Public Policy group, with a legal practice focused on political, legislative, and government regulatory matters in a wide range of areas. He also helped create and expand public-private partnerships. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells and Comcast, Jeff served in Washington DC in a number of key staff roles for then U.S. Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, culminating in his position as assistant to the Chief of Senate Floor Operations from 2000-2001, where he advised senators on legislative procedure and strategy relating to Senate floor activities.Jeff is a Denver resident and is active in the Denver community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and on the boards for the Denver Public Schools Foundation, City Year Denver, and the Colorado Cable Telecommunications Association.
