Managed a small technical team in the creation of two retinal imaging platforms for my patented technology phase variance optical coherence tomography (pvOCT) angiography, with the goal of FDA submission. - Managed and coordinated with a diverse set of teams, individuals, contractors and outside companies. These include operations, clinicians, software teams, clinical / regulatory compliance, as well as engineers with a wide range of hardware development skill sets (eg. optomechanical design, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering).- Led the development efforts for the creation and successful submission of one retinal imaging system to the Chinese FDA, with a second enhanced system planned for FDA and Chinese FDA submission- Defined system architecture and functionality requirements- Created and executed development roadmaps and milestones- Performed required market research to define technical system specifications- Programmed proof-of-concept algorithm developments and acquisition software using LabVIEW- Sourced imaging components and vendors to satisfy technical specifications- Prepared regular communications, presentations, and training documentation for relevant members of management and technical team members in U.S. and in China- Identified potential research and development opportunities for new products- Performed technical and functional troubleshooting and quality assurance- Provided technical information and documents for FDA and Chinese FDA submission requirements- Familiar with design control systems, risk management, and FDA documentation- Familiar with ISO 14971 / 15004 / 16971 and IEC 60601 / 60825 / 62304

Worked with the Alfred Mann Institute (AMI) at USC on the commercialization of a retinal imaging medical device containing my patented technology phase variance optical coherence tomography (pvOCT) angiography.- Created presentations and documents for potential investors in commercialization efforts- Performed technical market analysis on available OCT systems to identify key features and parameters - Designed and constructed prototype retinal imaging system to validate optical parameter performance- Defined algorithmic framework and requirements for system, including development for OCT angiography, eye tracking motion correction, and retinal segmentation
