I oversee software tools that support more than $1 billion in revenue for Quad – optimizing our customers' workflows and extending their reach.

I oversaw a team that handles implementations and support for Marketer's Studio (a content-management solution created by Quad) as well as set priorities for our development staff and guided them as they evolve Studio through an Agile process. I was also responsible for setting strategy for Studio, coordinating our team's efforts with other endeavors at Quad and assisting Quad's sales staff.

I oversaw relationships with customers and managed a team of product specialists. Our team analyzed customers' processes; planned and managed implementation of our products; installed software at client sites; trained users; and provided ongoing support and consulting. I also guided the direction of our products – prioritizing bug fixes, choosing new features and suggesting user-interface improvements.

Quad created Studio (which manages content for catalogs, retailers and creative agencies) and acted as a reseller for PlanSystem (a workflow-management tool for the publishing industry). I installed software at customer sites; trained users; and provided customer support, workflow analysis, quality assurance and product direction.

I oversaw four twice-weekly sections of The Star's Kansas Desk – managing five editors, eight staff reporters and multiple stringers. I also coordinated special projects for the Kansas Desk.
