I am responsible for creating various types of environments to showcase the multitude of products that QVC sells. I interpret direction given by a Creative Director and the Producer and work with the videographer (who is also the Director of Photography and Lighting Director) to create the finished room or setting. This video footage is used during Live On-Air sells and also on the website. I assemble the rooms using pre-made walls and architectural features as well as decorate and furnish the rooms. I also assemble the outfits for our models either using prop clothing or product. During the shoot, I closely watch the monitors to ensure everything looks air worthy. Many of these sets are constructed and decorated in several hours and have a "lifespan" of only a few hours before they are removed.
