Deactivation and removal of old AMR mxu transmitters. Physical installation of new fixed based AMI mxu transmitters and programming their output via handheld Sensus and Trimble devices. Removal of new mxu's from inventory and inputting their serial numbers into operation. Decomissioning old mxu's from inventory and adjusting data accordingly. Recognizing and replacing faulty meter dials. Recognizing and replacing failing meters. Recognizing and replacing damaged meter boxes and lids. Delivering final disconnection notices, discontinue and reconnect service. Working alongside construction crews to preform mass shutdowns during routine valve replacements and pipe installations. Installation and breakdown of service highline hose. Perform manual meter reads when needed. Opening/closing service orders Engaging with district customers in regards to service, complaints, or compliments. Maintaining a high degree of standard in customer service.Always protecting company assets.Working with a team to excavate, and replace 6"-8" hydrant valves.Replacing in-line valves.Repairing and replacing fire hydrants. Performing wet taps and installing new lateral service connections.Utilizing a backhoe to perform loading and excavating procedures.Driving and unloading class C dump trucks and water trucks.Installation and testing of cathodic protection anodes to service laterals.Paving and repairing damaged and/or post excavated roadways.Removing, cleaning and replacing pre-treatment filters in a water treatment facility.Pulling copper service connections through damaged or leaking Orangeburg pipe.Assisting in installing, activating and deactivating corporation stops.
