This team of hardware engineers and the partners we selected developed and manufactured a charging cabinet, interoperable battery and customized motorcycles to create this network. The team owned all firmware of the critical components.

I developed and led a small team of engineers working on installation tools and processes for the Solar Roof program. I worked within the design engineering team that was developing the next generation roof design. My team worked closely with the mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate the installation processes directly to the product.

Working within the Tesla energy team I lead the program to develop the 250kW V3 supercharger system. I was responsible for managing the schedule of the power cabinet and coordinating the interdependencies of all the independent subcomponents in the supercharger system including the charge post, the power electronics and the installation products and.

During this time, I program managed the supercharger generation 2 improving the power capability from 90kW to 120kW and then eventually to 144kW. I also managed a variety of charge post projects, helping to prepare the supercharger network for transition into international markets. I was also involved in the development of a variety of AC and DC adaptors.

Temporary role - Lead a team of design and manufacturing engineers and technicians in creating a production line in a tent to bolster the GA production capabilities of the Fremont Factory. The production line created the first product 2 weeks after the project began and was eventually slowly phased into a permanent facility.

During the critical Model 3 "production hell", the decision was made to pivot back to a more manual (Less automation) battery module production line. In order to achieve this objective, members from across the company were pulled together to install production lines of various parts of the battery pack assembly line. I was asked to be one of the 4 shift.

Working mainly on the Supercharger project during this time, with a small amount of support on the on-Board charger and the home charging products. Also during this time, I was supporting the supercharger deployment effort by flying to commission new supercharger sites in Washington, Oregon, Connecticut, Florida, Texas and California. For this internship, I was working with the team developing the engine for the Indian Chieftain motorcycle (the 108 cubic inch engine). I was also a part of an exercise to benchmark a variety of motorcycles to help with the architecture of a product that would eventually turn into the Indian Scout. I filled in on a variety of other roles during my time.

As a co-founder of Clerisy and the Manger of Business, I was involved in the many logistics behind the creation of a company. The formation of Clerisy Innovation Studios wass a dream that three co-founders had in the back of our minds for a very long time, and it finally became a reality when one of inventions we are working on began to really take root.
