    In February 2013, J. Moore & Company, P.C. purchased Johnson & Company CPAs, P.C. (my old firm) and I now work for them on a part time basis. The vast majority of my experience in accounting has been in running my own business. I feel that that experience alone gives me a unique perspective into the operations of a CPA firm and it certainly allows me to bring a certain level of senior leadership to J. Moore & Company, P.C.I like to meet new and interesting people, especially the entrepreneurial types. I am currently in the process of setting up an in-house marketing department for our firm and it has been challenging to say the least. I would welcome speaking with anyone who has worked in or supervised a CPA firm marketing department.In addition to the marketing efforts, I still have a few financial statement engagements that I work on throughout the year, and I do several involved business and individual tax returns.
