•Led the board, executive team and physician leadership to develop a new organizational mission and vision culminating in a new strategic plan and long range financial plan.•Developed multiple service line plans including a cardiac strategy, sports medicine plan, pathology strategy, Marcus Autism center plan and Emory‐Children’s research plan.•Directed projects to resolve key strategic challenges including statewide affiliation strategy and playbook and a physician vulnerability assessment and manpower plan.•Led system wide facility planning including an Atlanta MSA ambulatory plan which resulted in the filing of a CON to build a new imaging center in Cobb County.•Created new planning function including recruitment of a new team, standardization of the project planning approach and integrated system planning processes.

•Managed the due diligence for NMH’s first hospital affiliation from the identification of potential partners to signing with Lake Forest Hospital. •Led the design of NMH’s five year managed care strategy to exceed the requirements of the Long Range Financial Plan and position NMH for reform. •Designed and piloted enterprise risk management and led the creation of the business continuity strategy, which resulted in a three year plan and an H1N1 response plan. •Led a portfolio of joint NMH/Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine goals to increase fundraising, improve faculty recruitment and develop the cross organizational culture required to achieve the joint strategic plan.

•Guided hospital, faculty practice and medical school leaders to create a grant funding structure for service line initiatives, resulting in over $8M in grants to date. •Led the analysis of campus physician office space needs and availability for a comprehensive land use strategy, resulting in initiation of a 600K sq ft MOB project. •Created a five year emergency department strategy to meet projected demands with minimal physical expansion, much of which was implemented immediately.

•Structured and led a 20 member team in process and organizational changes in the Chicago Housing Authority Asset Management Division; identified $30M in savings. •Managed a Booz Allen and Civic Consulting Alliance team to design culture change tools at the Chicago Public Schools for the Renaissance 2010 strategy

•Led a fifteen‐person BAH and client team in analysis and implementation of inventory management strategies in the pharmaceutical industry. •Managed an eight person team in the completion of a comprehensive pricing evaluation process for a leading consumer products company. •Led a three‐person client and BAH team in market opportunity screening, selection and detailed business planning for a major health insurer. •Designed and executed analysis of the impact of wholesaler buying strategies for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer
