In addition to the job description below:Supervised as little as 4 to as many as 20 subordinates on Military Drill weekends to 9 individuals on two 12 hour shifts on deployments. Inventory, maintain and responsible for over $8 million dollars in shop assets. Led the AIS shop on major deployments consisting of 4 National Guard and 5 Active duty troops maintaining 24 hour coverage 7 days a week. Maintained two multimillion dollar test stations with minimal downtime. Maintained training curriculum and methods, mentored and cross-trained personnel in job duties resulting in lower supervision requirements and a significant cost savings in downtime. Provided supervision, training and technical assistance on the Mobile IAIS test station and associated test equipment for five lower grade personnel. Tested over $2 Million worth of avionics equipment per quarter with only 3 individuals. Responsible for requisitioning, processing and accounting for durable and expendable supply assets keeping under the budget. Document maintenance repair actions and man-hour accounting on maintenance forms and computer systems. Maintains historical data of repaired aircraft and components.Managed and trained personnel on the use of a new tool control database. This system was able to track overhauls, periodic inspections on all of our equipment, tools, and publications thus reducing the need for paper logbooks and binders saving hundreds of dollars per year. A highly skilled technical individual able to maximize cost savings and time based on budget. Uses various programs to forecast equipment calibrations as well as personnel needed.Spent the last 10 years mentoring and training 13 individuals in maintaining their highest level of proficiency, while many of them gained their Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering. Continually train while supervising and developed shop specific booklets and procedures for multiple projects including UHF/VHF, Lockout/Tagout to streamline processes.

• Performs troubleshooting analysis, functionally tests and evaluates operational characteristics, isolates malfunctions; repairs, modifies, calibrates and performs final alignments on a multitude of avionics electronics systems Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) consisting of several extensively integrated systems. • Reviews and analyzes malfunctions encountered through station testing and evaluates operational characteristics by applying a broad range of technical data to determine nature and validity of malfunctions. • Repairs systems by replacing circuit cards, switches, wiring, cables, waveguides, line replaceable units, and a variety of other peripheral parts and assemblies.• After repair is accomplished, performs operational tests and final alignment as required. Inspects for quality and completed maintenance to ensure compliance of technical directives.• Performs preventive maintenance through overhauls and periodic inspections on the electronic integrated avionics systems of assigned aircraft. • Interprets and analyzes voltage/current/power indications, computer printouts, and instrument readings. Utilizes test and support equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters and voltmeters, power meters, power supplies, UV EPROM Wafer/Eraser System.• Accomplishes hardware and software modifications to multiple integrated electronic systems and test stations.• Provides supervision, training and technical assistance on the Mobile IAIS test station and associated test equipment for five lower grade personnel.• Requisitions, processes and accounts for supply assets. • Documents maintenance repair actions and man-hour accounting on maintenance forms and computer systems.
