Develops, conducts, and tracks initial and recurring training courses for 64 team members ensuring all qualifications are accomplished and maintained. Develops rotational training schedules for new personnel to receive training in all sections. Conducts Career Development Course progress testing and tracking to ensure timely manner of upgrade training for all new Airmen from technical school, as well as supervision upgrade training. Prepares and updates Command level documents tracking all personnel mobility qualifications and special experience identifiers for deployment taskings. Advises upper level management to ensure informed decision making in regards to assigning personnel to additional training course attendance and temporary duty and deployment assignments.Oversees all support functions to include government purchase program to ensure all team members are supplied with appropriate gear, supplies and personal protective equipment. Ensures proper requests are filed in order to obtain equipment needs to ensure seamless operations with zero mission delays.

Managed the Air Force's largest contingency fuels operation securing 139 million gallons of aviation fuel valued at $503M. Supervised 23 Airmen and first line supervisors while overseeing seven fuels locations and one liquid oxygen storage area. Responsible for a mission critical hydrant fuels system valued at $127M and dispensed 49 million gallons of aviation fuel ensuring 56% of all in-flight refuel missions within the Middle East area of responsibility. Controlled a Thermal Stable Fuels storage area and maintained critical specialized fuel for Air Force surveillance aircraft, ensuring uninterrupted over watch of 700K square miles. Led diesel and unleaded fuels storage tank relocation project to remove tanks from housing compound ensuring increased security and safety for over 3500 U.S and allied personnel.

Supervised 20 subordinates, providing leadership/technical guidance to ensure timely fuel support to home station and transient aircraft. Managed Airfield Driving Program, conducting training and ensuring 74 personnel receive proper credentials, training, and requalification training for all flight line driving operations. Drove daily preventative maintenance inspections of a $2.4M vehicle fleet while sustaining a 94% mission capable rate, besting the Command standard of 92%.Reviewed aircraft flying schedules for changes in fuel support requests and altered personnel shifts accordingly. Conducted daily flight line operational compliance inspections to ensure technical guidance and safety procedures are adhered to.

Deployed Location

Hand-selected for unique deployed location operating a two personnel fuels function. Conducted all fuel laboratory quality sampling and testing, and coordinated with Area Lab in a secondary continent to ensure all test results are in compliance. All testing was performed in field environments under extreme conditions. Also performed refueler maintenance inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the three vehicle fleet maintained 100% mission capable rate in support of aircraft flying missions. Coordinated with Logistics Supply personnel to acquire four high interest vehicle parts to rectify open work orders while preventing further damage to pumping the pumping systems that would have rendered the vehicles in-operable.Hand-selected to forward deploy to another country for a three week period to repair a refuel vehicle fleet that was 50% hard-broken and unserviceable. Conducted safety and operational inspections and corrected the vehicle deficiency, while also discovering early signs of future needed repairs. Conducted preventative maintenance needs and ordered new fuel piping valves and filters.Drove $300K fuel service station contract completion, identifying 10 safety/operational discrepancies during contractor build/installation. Efforts ensured proper technical guidance was met, and prevented additional $150K in contract costs, and 6 month extension to project completion.Volunteered to perform maintenance and repairs to one of only three Regional Red Cross ambulances, installing $3500 in parts, and saving 12 hrs of labor. These vehicles were 1005 in need to support the needs of 250K local nationals.

Responsible to the maintenance/repairs/safety inspections of $4.5M fleet of aircraft refuelers supporting 87 assigned and transient aircraft.Traced and updated vehicle maintenance statuses in Fuels Manager Defense program. Monitored work order and maintenance control records ensuring proper inspection timelines are met to ensure max upkeep of DoD assets. Procured Master Meter from Mt. Home Air Force base to test all equipment meters and calibrate for accurate accounting. Procurement due to lack of equipment available at Hill AFB, UT saved the organization $14K in contract costs, and 36 days in refuel equipment downtime.

Piloted Fuels Laboratory operations analyzing 20K fuels samples, ensuring 140M gallons aviation fuel meets Air Force technical guidance standards. Utilized analytical balances, fuel filtration apparatus and methods to test for solids contamination, conductivity meters, refractometers, hydrometers, thermometers, in-line fuel samplers, water detection methods, flash point testing equipment, and all appropriate PPE. Managed Precision Measurement Equipment items valued at $125K.Tracked calibration needs and requirements. Led quality testing for 250K gallons of specialized fuels for unmanned aviation vehicles enabling 24hr aerial surveillance.

Monitored aviation and ground fuel inventory levels to ensure adequate on-hand supply to support peacetime and pre=positioned wartime stock levels. Validated and processed aviation and ground fuel transactions into the Business System Modernization-Energy system to ensure accurate billing and accounting processes. Coordinated support for petroleum/cryogenic/missile propellants for two fighter wings, depot maintenance function, and transient aircraft. Monitor personnel and equipment while advising Fuels Management on matters impacting flight assets and mission capability.Led 2009 Fiscal year close=out efforts of 48K fuel account transactions worth $92M accurately billed. Corrected over 700 accounting "rejects" in the BSM-E system, ensuring proper billing actions accomplished and aircraft organizations billing information was updated and accurate. Direct nightly surveillance of $8.3M of fuels facilities and equipment, providing security and environmental over watch.

Supervised two Airmen, oversaw fuel quality for 83 assigned F-15 fighter aircraft, five HH-60 Rescue Helicopters, and transient aircraft. Scheduled and performed sampling and testing of 28M gallons of aviation fuel and 2M gallons of ground fuels annually. Immense attention to detail to adhere to strict technical guidance and testing. Result data input and tracking for trend analysis. Managed Lockout/Tag Out program for all grades of fuel and liquid oxygen storage facilities. Executed 18K analysis of 6 fuel systems and 19 refuelers to support United States Air Forces Europe's busiest flying program of 28K flying hours annually.Top choice to deploy to Rwanda in support of Presidential support of President George W. Bush's travel in Africa. Conducted fuel sampling and testing of two bulk fuel tanks, and four refuel assets ensuring 100% specification compliance for 26K gallons of aviation fuel issued to Air Force One, Marine One, Air Force Back-up aircraft, and support crew aircraft. Deployed to Forward Operation Location for barebase set-up to establish fuels operations abilities for storage and distribution functions.
