Jeff has practiced in state courts throughout Arkansas, in addition to a federal practice in both its Eastern and Western Districts, with considerable jury-trial experience in both, and before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has maintained practices in Little Rock and his hometown of Paragould, before returning to Fayetteville in 2002, where he was a partner at Everett, Wales & Mitchell, LLP before joining Taylor Law Partners, LLP, in 2010. Jeff is also a Series 65, FINRA-registered Investment Advisor Representative in Fayetteville since 2013. With a practice covering the areas of complex civil litigation, domestic cases for high-net-worth individuals, and white-collar crime, Jeff has achieved an AV peer-review rating from Martindale-Hubbell™. He has represented both large corporations and disadvantaged individuals with energy, creativity and compassion. Jeff has always pursued his work with the same curiosity and interest in the truth, with a focus on the “soft underbelly of a case”, where he says you will find the most important “matters of fact”. Jeff Mitchell was born in Paragould, Arkansas in the summer of 1968. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1990, he worked at Acxiom Corporation as a technical writer before receiving his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1995. While in law school, Mr. Mitchell worked first for the Clinton for President Campaign, headquartered in Little Rock, then afterward as a clerk and associate attorney for Howell, Trice & Hope, P.A., where he tried his first criminal case – a federal drug conspiracy – to a jury within months of his graduation.
