I have been working in the Continuous Improvement field now for 20+ years with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and operational improvements. A previous coach of mine used this acronym. (ACT) To be effective on Continuous Improvement you need to have the ABILITY to see waste, the COURAGE to call it waste and the TENACITY to eliminate waste. This rings true to all areas of manufacturing. There is nothing I enjoy more than sharing my experience with others and to develop teams to be self sufficient. When you begin to engage the entire workforce and the results start to show, the rewards are endless. You never really know or see those "diamonds in the rough" until you start looking.I was very fortunate in my career to have some very good coaches and mentors as I developed my leadership skills. I continue to strive to fill those shoes and to be that same coach and mentor to others. My true objective....to see someone step into my position and continue the work we start.
Listed skills include Management, Process Improvement, Leadership, Manufacturing, and 49 others.
