Specialties: I was a Senior Software Test Analyst with experience over a wide range of applications, including data encryption, postal services, trading systems, electronic data records management systems (EDRMS), aircraft health systems and other engineering products.My disciplines transitioned in 2004 from development roles to testing. Since then, I concentrated on the testing of software applications. Because of the type of products that I had been involved in over my career, I have a thorough appreciation of the importance of testing and how it should be approached.I have a good understanding of the ‘V’ Software life Cycle, recognising the need to address each stage within it. I also have good experience working in an Agile environment.I would consider myself to be someone who has a methodical approach to product design and development, with a good understanding and appreciation of customer needs.I enjoyed working as part of a team, rather than in isolation, and regarded communication as one of the key aspects of my work.Being familiar with the commercial pressures of industry, I recognised the need to learn quickly to maximise productivity.
