Risk Analyst
Current• Provide quality assurance reviews for all service delivery departments to identify potential risky procedures and provide solutions and controls to minimize the risk.• Have performed two client specific reviews at the request of the clients. These have been comprehensive end-to-end reviews of internal processes and procedures specific to each client. Each review resulted in recommendations internally and to the client, which are intended to reduce risk, introduce controls and increase efficiencies across all client specific processes.• Serve as a direct point of contact for external auditors during their biannual SOC-1 audit of our fund accounting services internal controls. Assist with process walk-throughs and all testing associated with the audit. Also act as the liaison between all departments and the auditors.• Responsible for organizing and consolidating Risk and Control Self Assessments for Service Delivery Operations.• Review incidents that occur in service delivery, in order to identify how they happened and what processes or procedures should be put in place to minimize the likelihood of similar incidents occurring.• Maintain an incident database where all service delivery incidents are recorded and progress towards resolution and recurrence prevention is tracked.• Responsible for ad hoc projects to alleviate risk around specific fund accounting processes.• Interact daily with our other global risk departments in order to provide the most value for the service delivery departments that we oversee.• Solely responsible for generating monthly reporting metrics and KPIs that are sent to senior management. • Responsible for reviewing daily and other periodic mutual fund events for high risk clients to ensure that they are accurately accounted for and that the proper controls are in place to alleviate risk for the bank.• Point of contact for service delivery groups when they need an opinion on processes that they are looking to change or implement.
