In addition to executing, this required actively convincing and recruiting employees, partners and investors to join us in support of our joint vision. I was humbled to work with some amazing people during this period and list some of my most notable professional accomplishments as follows:1) Leading the team which successfully raised in excess of C$200M in growth capital, including seed equity, subsequent private and public debt and equity capital, including a successful listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.2) Leading the teams which successfully sourced, negotiated and executed two significant acquisitions with a combined value in excess of C$120M+. These included, the acquisition of Deimos Imaging which was subsequently named 'Strategic Transaction of the Year' by Euroconsult in 2015 and the more recently proposed acquisition of Geosys from Land O'Lakes in August of 2018.3) Being part of the executive team which helped the company become recognized as the #1 fastest growing technology company in Canada on Deloitte's 19th annual Technology Fast 50 program (for revenue growth between 2012 and 2015). 4) Co-developing and executing the business plan and subsequent C$200M+ financing strategy required for UrtheDaily (a next generation Earth Observation constellation) including leading the team which successfully negotiated and signed customer pre-commitment contracts in excess of C$200M.
