- Lead Contracting Officer Representative (COR) over $30 million dollars in contracts.- Streamline the contracting process to provide better services to our customers.

• Manage dozens of Government contracts to ensure that they meet all legal and regulatory requirements, that they stay within the allotted budget, and that they are performed in a timely manner. • Prepare and help award contracts ranging from $500.00 - $13.0 million dollars.• Verify contract requirements are met. I have become one of the lead Contracting Officers in our office because of my early involvement, creative thinking, and efficiency with regards to contracting. • Developed new project management and customer satisfaction tracking tool that is designed to enhance customer satisfaction by improving project delivery. • Project tracking tool is being adopted by management to create performance measures for the office in order to increase employee accountability.• Customer satisfaction tool is in the process of being implemented in Colorado, Utah, Montana, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming to better assess project delivery to our customer. • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on the goods and services the Agency purchases. I assess proposed prices to see if they are fair and reasonable.• Brought in to become one of the main contributors for the multi-million dollar operations and maintenance procurement. My involvement enabled the contract to get back on schedule. • Received my FAC-C Level I Certification and Simplified Acquistion Warrant that allows me to legally bind the Government financially.

• Efficiently managed purchasing processes for 130 procurements that were essential for our office.• Delivered cost savings by ensuring best value on all procurements via market research.• Compiled the required pre-solicitation, award, and post award documentation for 30 contracts.

• Conducted tax incidence study that included gathering over 1,000 pieces of land parcel information.• Drove understanding of tax equity of Utah citizens by initiating the Utah Tax Incidence Study.• Advised State Legislators on past and current tax regulatory issues.

I worked with more than 2,000 residents to help them come into compliance with the City’s zoning ordinances. I evaluated and resolved their concerns, and did so without having a single resident be angry about the outcome. I updated the city ordinance Code Enforcement sections to clarify the code enforcement responsibilities and processes. This allowed the next officer to take over and do the job at the same pace that I did. I created a 5-man team from all the city departments to be able to reach out and help more residents within the city.

I reviewed, prepared, and presented development plans to the legislative body of the City. I also updated several City ordinances to increase readability and efficiency in finding which land uses were permitted in the different residential and commercial zones.

I trained 22 students in the basics of Geographic Information Systems. I taught review sessions to help the students better learn and understand the concepts the professor presented in class.

I changed the laundry delivery route in order to decrease the amount of time required for pickups and deliveries by 25%. During times of fewer employees, I helped maintain the same level of dry cleaning production by learning to do all the jobs within the facility.

I learned to converse fluently in Spanish, and taught weekly training classes for over a year to help the missionaries learn best practices to be the most successful. I supervised and was responsible for the performance, safety, and well-being of 12 to 18, 19 year-old missionaries.
