Division Chief for the Complex Litigation Division. I manage a 50-person team of attorneys and paralegals. We pursue and defend significant cases for the State of Washington. The division has recovered over $1 billion for Washingtonians. We have defended many types of cases including challenges to gun regulations, forest management plans, and benefits class actions. The division successfully litigated many Administrative Procedure Act cases agains the federal government. I was lead counsel in several cases challenging the federal government’s attempt to deregulate 3D guns.

First chair litigation experience pursuing and defending complex cases. I managed teams of up to 25 lawyers. I also was outside general counsel for a quasi-governmental alternative investment fund during its liquidation.
